Apprenticeship program participants receive wages from an employer and GI Bill benefits at the same time.Here's a look at some of what our Carrier Procurement Representatives do: Identify new carriers (trucking companies) to add to the FMI network Negotiate rates with carriers Work with other members of the Carrier Procurement Team to secure the services of appropriate carriers for all freight that needs to be shipped on a day-to-day basis Develop and manage a portfolio of national carriers To be considered, you must have: 3 or more years of relationship sales experience Experience with 3PL or logistics/transportation is good but not a deal breaker Ability to manage multiple projects (multi-tasking is key) Detail-orientation Excellent communication skills
